Dr. Akosua Obeng is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is qualified and well versed in treating adult patients with psychiatric disorders. Over the course of 20 years of Nursing practice, she’s had the privilege of working in many practice areas, from hospitals to inpatient facilities, and outpatient clinics. Dr. Akosua Obeng, offers client-focused and compassionate mental health treatment for patients of varying ages from 18 years and above.
Her area of expertise includes (but not limited to) managing clients with Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, Schizophrenia, and more. Dr. Obeng’s treatment plans are client specific and tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals.

Telepsychiatry Appointments – Texas, Washington and Arizona
Providing convenient and easily accessible mental health services via HIPAA compliant video conferencing systems. Enjoy the convenience of medication management visits from the comfort of your own home. A prescreen consultation with a provider may be completed prior to scheduling a patient appointment. ( not sure if I want to add this)
We don’t just focus on medications but also incorporate healthier habits & teach effective coping skills to better manage life stressors.
WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS with the following insurance panels: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Oxford, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, Cigna, and Aetna plans.
*We currently charge between $150 – $250 without these insurance
